Bio:
I’m a fineart photographer, born in London, my work focuses on death and decay and the beauty found within that. I find beauty in darkness, poetry and meaning in the forgotten and surreal, imaginary worlds amongst decay. My artworks breathe life into forgotten historical locations, reawaken old narratives, find beauty and meaning in their ruin and revive the memories of lost moments in places.

Favorite place on earth? So many places I love its hard to choose just one.
When did you realize that you wanted to be a professional photographer? In 2006 I fell in love with taking photos, got a full time job as a studio photographer and started a huge passion which evolves with time. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else now.
Who inspires you? I love looking at my friends photos and they always inspire me as people are doing such wonderful creative things all around me, but when it comes to my own work, I am more inspired by films, surroundings etc.
What camera do you use to capture most of your work? Mamiya Leaf Credo 80 and Sony A7Rii
If I could photograph anyone in the world, alive or deceased, it would be… My grandad that I didn’t meet
What do you do when not taking photos? Getting tattoo’s, travelling, collecting weird things
One piece of advice for someone at the beginning stages of their photography career? To not look at what others are doing, to find your own path and believe in yourself, you wont climb mountains quickly, but the more you stick at it the more you will develop your passion and amazing things will start to happen. To never give up and when discouraged to just keep doing what you love.
How do you “Live The Moment”? Its all about taking risks, pushing myself out of my comfort zone, pushing myself to think differently and enjoy every minute of it. I prefer experinces over material things and every day I live in the there and then instead of looking to far in the future. Its about being thankful for what I have, not wishing for what I havent.
