Bio:
Matt Granger is a professional photographer, educator and adventurer from Australia, now based out of New York City.
Matt spends almost half the year travelling and running photography tours to exotic countries such as Bhutan, Iceland, Namibia, Nepal and Mongolia. He also teaches photography workshops on lighting and portraiture, and presents at trade shows for industry partners.
When Matt is not travelling, he is making free content for YouTube. His photography, travel and food videos have amassed over 100 million views and over 600,000 subscribers.

When did you realize that you wanted to be a professional photographer? 15 – when studying darkroom at high school
Who inspires you? So many people – especially seeing my students progress and create amazing images.

One piece of advice for someone at the beginning stages of their photography career? Start collaborating early, and take some business classes.
How do you “Live The Moment”? I try to regularly take stock of where I am in life and my career, and to dream of the ideal place I could be in a few years time – and go for it. The process is as rewarding as the destination.
